Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get started?

The first step to book a free consultation with a PRIME Coach. During your session we will do a basic fitness assessment and discuss your training goals. (If you choose partner training we will go through this for both of you.).  After that, we will discuss and get set up in your program. To get started, simply email or call us and one of our trainers will call to set up your initial consultation.

How much is my first consultation?

Your first consultation is absolutely free (no strings attached) and you are under no obligation to continue to train with us after this initial workout if you decide that it’s not a good fit for you.

What do I need to bring?

Yourself (and a partner if you chose partner training) and a great attitude!  We provide Towels, locker rooms, shower facilities with full amenities (shampoo, blow dryer, moisturizer, etc) Filtered water is provided on-site, but please bring your own water bottleas we are Eco-friendly at Prime. Please ensure to wear comfortable clothing and appropriate indoor footwear.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We have Debit set up, so all we need is a void cheque.  We post-bill at the end of the month and debit your account 3 days after your invoice is emailed to you.

Group Fitness Classes must be paid for at the session if you are dropping in.  If you have a group training membership we post-bill and debit at the end of the month.

What if I need to cancel training session?

If you cannot make your training session, simply notify your trainer within 24 hours, either by phone or in person.  If you are unable to reschedule the session, the full session fee will be charged. If there is an emergency or a special circumstance we will do our best to work with you and reschedule your session.

 For Partner Training, if one partner cancels with less than 24 hours notice, the trainer will keep the session with the remaining client, and the client who cancelled will be charged for their portion. If 24 hours notice is given and your partner keeps their session, they will be charged the standard one-on-one rate.

Where are you located?

Personal training sessions are held at our Private at 3321 Dunbar St. (Dunbar and 17th). 

Most of Our Small Group Training Sessions and Spin Classes are held at 4175 West 29th (St. Georges Senior School Fitness Facility) Please go to Group Training Schedule for more details.

Do you provide parking?

Limited free parking is available on the street in front, behind and on the side streets directly near the studio.  For Group Training, there is generally ample parking in the parking lot of the school (unless you are attending a spin class during school hours, where we ask that you park on the street and walk into the facility)

What else can I do to make sure I get the results that I want?

Commit and Show up for your sessions. You want results, commit the time to making it happen.

KEEP MOVING!  Find ways to be active inbetween your personal training sessions!  Join one of our group classes, go to a spin class, phone a friend a go for hike.  We should all be aiming to be active daily.

Eat well. As hard as you work with your coach, if you’re going home every night and eating junk or just eating too much…you are making it hard for yourself.  Don’t worry we have a team of professionals to guide you in the right direction!
